 Christopher "Topher" Young - Founder

Christopher "Topher" Michael Young is the founder of the Paranormal Study and Investigative Research Organization, or commonly referred to as PSIRO. Young created PSIRO with the intent to help advance the current state of paranormal research. Noticing a lack of structure and substantial data being presented within the field, Young wanted to create an organization that not only conducts such research, but encourages and promotes organizations and individuals who are setting the bar to advance the paranormal research field.

Topher has been in the paranormal research field since 2001, researching and studying independently off and on until 2005 when he joined a local paranormal research group, the Penn State Paranormal Research Society, now known as PRS. In late 2008, Young left PRS and began creating and devising his own organization that focused more heavily on research and study. In 2009, PSIRO was created.
