Becoming an investigator/researcher for PSIRO requires more than just an avid interest in the paranormal or having experiences of your own. PSIRO requires all investigators and researchers to undergo intensive training and research preparation prior to being cleared to research and investigate as a PSIRO member. It is vital for PSIRO researchers to have a basic understanding of natural phenomena and research methodologies that will aid in both laboratory and field research.

Investigator Requirements

Since there are currently no nationally recognized certifications or degrees in paranormal type research, PSIRO has created its own standards of education and requirements to be instated as a PSIRO researcher. PSIRO Researchers require a high school degree or equivalent (college education in science related fields preferred), 20 hours of in-field research shadowing, completion of assigned research papers, attendance to minimum required lectures and workshops, and a passing grade on final exam created and administered by PSIRO.

Completion of required testing set forth by PSIRO is not a certification program. You will not receive a certification stating that you are a "paranormal researcher" or some other title like some other groups that you may have seen. This is not a certification testing program, our educational program is required solely to investigate and research as a PSIRO investigator.
