The Paranormal Study and Investigative Research Organization (PSIRO) recognize that support and encouragement of quality scientific research is a critical part of its overall mission to improving paranormal research and investigation.

PSIRO is dedicated to researching and investigating all claims of the paranormal scientifically and without bias. PSIRO hopes to tear down the perceptions of the paranormal research field by offering structured and critical investigation techniques and high moral research ethic.

Get Involved With Paranormal Research

I am currently opening the doors to allow the general paranormal community to contribute to PSIRO's first case study. I am hoping that the more people that start getting involved with actual research, the more the field can start changing its focus of being on TV and throwing the next big conference, to actually getting back to studying and observing what is currently not understood.

I am looking for people who will have the time to sit down and write out 20 - 50 unique questions for the basis of understanding what types of people are more prone to paranormal phenomena.

The study is divided into 5 parts

Demo-graphical
Belief
Behavior
Medical
Physical

Both Demographical and belief are currently finalized and finished, however, the remaining three sections are still in need of in depth questions for the extensive survey. If you would like to partake in the case study as a co-contributor, please email me at the email listed above and state your intent to partake in the development of the study.

Information about the study is listed below.

Information on CASE STUDY: 0209-0001

Objective: The purpose of this case study is to collect and interpret data to determine what specific traits person(s) claiming to experience paranormal phenomena exhibit.

Case Study: 0209-0001 will consist of an in-depth survey that will be administered to both paranormal claimants and non-claimants. Over the course of a 12 month span, the surveys will be administered and the data collected and the findings published.

It is our hopes that we can come to a definitive conclusion on the specific characteristics and traits that those claiming paranormal experiences exhibit to continue and further the study of paranormal research. By coming to a definitive conclusion that specific traits and characteristics exist within shared paranormal claimants, the data collected may help us understand why people claim to experience paranormal phenomena.

With the understanding that new information may come to light and new questions may be posed, new questions that are deemed significant to the study will be added every 12 month cycle to ensure that each of the studies is given the same amount of time to collect information. At the end of the 12 month cycle, a new version (Case number 0209-0001.1, 0209-0001.2, etc) will replace the old study at the beginning of a new 12 month cycle.

The case study will continue to collect data from the surveys for as long as PSIRO is instated as a professional research organization or until PSIRO and its members deem the information no longer of importance to the understanding and research within the paranormal.
