Paranormal Investigator is a Fraud?!

Whether it was merely poor judgment or a deliberate act to deceive, I was made aware of a team, more specifically an individual, who has made an attempt to deceive the public by posting faked evidence. Only he was caught in his lie, and now I am reposting and making others aware the same as I was.

These photos were posted on Facebook and labeled as "footage" of a paranormal investigation.

The problem was that someone saw them that called bullshit, but not without getting enough information to ensure that this was fraud and not ignorance. This is the blog written to expose the fraud.

Now I am a fairly neutral person, and I wanted to make sure that the allegations above were at least true before reposting. While I could not find evidence of the photographs, I did find references that the photos were removed. I have copied the screen capture below. The context of the discussion matches the allegations, so that is why I am reposting this. Names and images have been blurred to protect the innocent.

This person has been in the community for at least 5 years, done numerous radio shows from what I have gathered. While I cannot find any inclination that this person took the photos themselves, they are claiming the evidence as their own. Please feel free to repost this.

This makes the third time I have seen this same so called ghost in as many months ! One was submitted to me for review by a local person for me to look at.
There seems to be a IPhone app with this smae kid where you can add it to pics from an IPhone..guess they should have taken a little more time to see if anyone else knew about their Fake.

I am concerned that we will start seeing more of this from groups and people in general. It is disappointing to see people in the community attempt to pass this off as evidence. This was taken from an iPhone application, so you are correct.

I am the person that posted the blog. I had seen the photos posted on anothers facebook and was amazed at the photos clarity.
I had spoken with the poster about showing them to my team and directing a blog post to his website giving full rights. He had asked me not to publish the images because of an ongoing investigation.
We had had a lengthy discussion and had told me of a long tern ongoing investigation on the images.
On the original post was a remark that I am sure it was from him saying that the he had taken the images a few seconds apart on his cell phone.
While studying the images, I began researching my photo databases and found the same little girl in another image. This upset me because of the messages we had sent back and forth, I had trusted this individual. I spoke with one of the posters that had answered his Facebook post and he concurred with me that he also believed that the photos were from him. When I had posted my blog, his original post had been deleted by him.
In those messages to him, he had explained that there was much more evidence to be had or something.
In his messages this is a quote without the name.

"
If indeed someone tries to pass these off as their own they would have to have the other pictures and upcoming gathered evidence to back that claim .But as you well know there are people within the field who would lower themselves to that level indeed. These pictures and the others are incredible evidence indeed to present to the world no doubt ,but its the mission to pass her over thats the agenda here not the hey check out what we captured .My intention was to see how many self proclaimed mediums and psychics I have within my now 937 I think friends here on FB to name this girl.As of now only a few have come forward huh ,ponders all these wanna be's out there ey lol.I have"
End quote.
On requests from friends I removed the posts because they felt I got my point across that there is no room for such nonsense in our field as hard enough as it is to pass off real evidence.

I also solved this individuals major case in 1:25 minutes of research.

I have also seen some youtube videos that were also a little disturbing. The individual demanded a retract but thats not going to happen and should be glad that I had altered my posts to suit.

The photos however and the origins of the hoax image can still be found on my blog.

Weather this person wanted to test the mediums abilities or punk them I do not know but this open scharade needs to stop. I believe that this may have been started because of this article:

Even though after these new shows in the media more groups will arise and this will only be the beginning. By the occasional counter perhaps some of these groups will avoid this damaging nonsense.

For those of us that have been out here a few decades this stuff hurts.

Martin,
Thank you for responding and offering some more information. I agree that if the intention was to merely test the abilities of so-called mediums and psychics out there, there are certainly better methods to do so.

While my article was made rather hastily and based off emotion from seeing an act that I could only describe as appalling, I temporarily blinded myself to the possibility that he himself might have been duped as well. For the time being I will give the benefit of the doubt.
