The Paranormal Study and Investigative Research Organization (PSIRO) recognize that support and encouragement of quality scientific research is a critical part of its overall mission to improving paranormal research and investigation. PSIRO is dedicated to researching and investigating all claims of the paranormal scientifically and without bias. PSIRO hopes to tear down the perceptions of the paranormal research field by offering structured and critical investigation techniques, high moral research ethic, and critical peer review.

MEMBERSHIP

Thank you for your interest in becoming a PSIRO member. Please read the membership criteria below carefully as some restrictions apply depending on the level of membership desired.



PSIRO Official Membership 


Official members are paranormal researchers and investigators that are trained and accepted by the Paranormal Study and Investigative Research Organization. All official members are local to the main branch office and conduct research and investigations through the PSIRO organization. Official members of PSIRO are typically not primarily associated with other paranormal research groups or organizations.

Official Member Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have at minimum a high school degree or equivalent.
- Must pass preliminary evaluations set forth by the PSIRO.
- Remain in good standing with annual membership fees (if Applicable)
- Must attend the minimum required meetings monthly
- Must follow the ASPRS guidelines, standards, and protocols
- Conduct, develop, and/or contribute to current or upcoming PSIRO case studies.
- Free of criminal record

Associative Membership

Associative members are individual researchers or investigators who wish to conduct and contribute to PSIRO outside of the local area on their own behalf.


Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a minimum High School degree or equivalent.
- Must follow the ASPRS guidelines, standards, and protocols
- Must develop, conduct, or contribute to at least one case study or publish one research article per fiscal membership year.
- Free of criminal record

Affiliate Membership 


Affiliate members are groups or organizations that wish to contribute and/or work alongside PSIRO to accomplish the mission and goals set forth by the organization.

Requirements:

- Groups and Organizations must have majority membership over the age of 18.
- Groups and Organizations must have majority membership holding a minimum High School degree or equivalent.
- Must follow the ASPRS guidelines, standards, and protocols
- Must develop, conduct, or contribute to at least one case study or publish one research article per fiscal membership year.
- Free of criminal records
